Best Foundation Duo for the Hot Days

Hello lovelies,
The weather here has been pretty crazy hot lately. So I don’t have a
lot of option regarding makeup. Last summer, I could wear anything I wanted but
not this year. So I wanted to give you guys a peak of the foundation duo that
has been making me look really good despite the 40 degrees weather.
Foundation Series : NARS Sheer Glow Foundation (Dark Skin)

I have stayed away from NARS Sheer Glow Foundation for the longest
time mainly because of the name. In my head glow and oily skin don’t go
together. But I was on the hunt for a new foundation because for the first time
ever, my skin wasn’t as oily and needed something that wasn’t too mattifying. I
wanted the NARS All Day Luminous Foundation that replaced the Sheer Matte but I
can’t seem find a good matching color. So I spontaneously decided to get the
Sheer Glow and I was not disappointed.
Foundation Series | Make Up For Ever Invisible Cover Foundation

It’s been quite some time since my
last #FoundationSeries post. So, after using
MAC and Clinique foundations and them oxidizing on my like crazy, I decided to
go and try Make Up For Ever Invisible
Cover Foundation that has been on my wish list for years. I was going to
buy the NARS All Day Luminous Foundation but it out of stock in my shade look
up for a review as soon I get one.
How to: Choose The right Foundation for your Skin Type

Hope you are all well and enjoying the sun. I've noticed
that I haven’t written an article on how to choose your foundation according to
your skin type. So here it is. But before that let me give you some generals
advices on when it comes to choose a foundation that is right for you. First, you
will almost never find your ideal foundation on the first time so do not stress
with that. Also, take three colors that are the closest to your natural color
and put them side to side on your jaw line and the one that blends the most and disapear into your skin is the
right shade. Finally, since we tend to be of two different colors during the
year darker in summer and lighter in winter, then you will need two different colors.
But for me, during the year, I mix two colors together to use one color all year long.

pas écrit d’article sur comment choisir votre fond de teint selon votre type de
peau. Alors le voici. Mes conseils en général lorsqu’il s’agit de choisir un fond
de teint, c’est que de un, vous n’allez presque jamais trouver sur le coup
votre formule idéale alors ne stressez pas avec cela. Aussi, prenez 3 teintes
qui se rapprochent le plus de votre couleur naturel et mettez les côtes à côte sur la ligne de votre mâchoire
et celle qui se fond le plus c’est la bonne teinte. Pour finir, puisque on a
tendance à être de deux couleurs différents durant l’année plus foncé en été et
pâle en hiver, alors vous aurez besoin de deux teintes de fond de teint
différents. Mais moi, durant l’année, je mélange deux teintes ensembles pour
avoir un juste milieu.

Dry Skin: People
with this kind of skin have a dull looking complexion. So you need a foundation
that is hydrating. So try a tinted moisturizer, but a few foundations have
their equivalent for dry skin. Like the Revlon ColorStay for drier skin. Don’t use any mattifying formula. Try Clinique’s
Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer or the Nearly
Naked Foundation from Revlon. But the basic for people with dry skin is hydratation. So don't forget.

Peaux
sèches: Les personnes avec ce type de peau un teint terne/fade
et sèche bien entendu (désolé pour le terme). Donc, vous avez besoin d'une
fondation qui est hydratant. Donc, essayez les hydratants teintés, mais
quelques fondations ont leur équivalent pour les peaux sèches. Comme le
ColorStay Revlon pour les peaux sèches. Ne pas utiliser une formule matifiant.
Essayez Moisture Surge Hydratant
teinté de Clinique ou le
fond de teint Nearly Naked de Revlon. Mais la base, c’est de bien hydrater votre
peau.

Combination Skin:
If you have this kind of skin usually you are dry around the face but shiny in
your T-Zone. Try a formula with silica beads and lecithin. This kind of formula
will take care of both dryness and oiliness of your face. Try the Even Better from Clinique (My review Here) or the Radiant Skin Satin Finish Foundation from Becca. Use a setting powder on your T-Zone and you are good to go.

Peaux mixtes: Si vous avez ce
type de peau généralement vous êtes sec autour du visage mais brillant dans
votre T-Zone. Essayez une formule avec des billes de silice et de la lécithine.
Ce type de formule se chargera à la fois de la sécheresse et brillance de votre
visage. Essayez l’Even Better de Clinique (Ma critique Ici) ou le Radiant Skin Satin Finish de Becca. Vous n’aurez qu’à mettre un peu de poudre sur votre T-Zone et vous être
paré.

Oily Skin:
You have to choose a formula without any oil. You want a matte and smooth
looking skin. Search for something like shine-reducing, mattifying words on the
bottle. Use liquid foundation or cream foundation for full coverage. You will
need to powder after that. For this kind of skin I recommend the Stay Matte from Clinique. You can read here my review of it (Here). It a liquid - powder type foundation.
You don’t have to use powder with it but I do. If you want a drugstore choice try the Revlon ColorStay for combo-oily skin. I heard great thing on it and as soon I find the right I will do a review.

Peaux grasses: Vous devez
choisir une formule sans huile. Vous voulez une peau matte et lisse. Recherche
sur les bouteilles des produits des mots comme réduction de brillance et
mattifiant. Utilisez un fond de teint
liquide ou fond de teint crème pour une couverture complète. Vous aurez besoin
de poudre après. Pour ce type de peau, je vous conseille le Stay Matte de Clinique. Vous pouvez lire ici ma critique de
celui-ci (Ici). C'est un fond de teint liquide avec une texture poudré. Vous n'avez
pas à utiliser de poudre avec. Sinon pour un choix de pharmacie j’ai entendu
beaucoup de bons commentaires sur le ColorStay pour peaux grasses de Revlon.
Dès que je trouve ma couleur, je vous ferais un post là-dessus.
