Face Off Makeup Remover Cloth*

face off cloth, face off makeup remover cloth, lightsfashionbeauty. brown beauty blogger, montreal blogger

I always thought that micellar water was the best invention of all time because of how easy it was to remove my makeup and didn’t think that the makeup remover cloth really worked. This was until I discovered The FaceOff Cloth.

The FaceOff Cloth is ‘’ a natural, soft, reusable cleansing cloth that removes all face and eye makeup, even mascara, using only warm water. It instantly eliminates dirt, excess of oil and skin impurities leaving the complexion fresh and radiant. “

Maple Holistics Ancient Clay Facial Mask*

You guys know that my favorite skincare items are face mask. The clay ones even more. So when I got the opportunity to try Maple HolisticsAncient Clay Facial Mask, I had to take it. The reason I prefer clay mask I s mostly because of my oily skin. I feel like all the impurities and oils are being extracted by the clay and most importantly, I can sleep with them. The Maple Holistics Ancient Clay Facial Mask is made with three clays: French Green Clay (help with impurities and glowing skin), Betonite Clay (help remove acne induced toxins) and Fuller’s Earth Clay (help reducing acne scars and blemishes).

Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age and SubQ Eyes Advanced Serums*

For the past few weeks I have been testing the new skincare products SubQ Anti-Age and SubQ Eyes Advanced Serums from Hylamide. This line is mostly focused on effective penetration and also the choosing the right ingredients.

The multi-depth Hylamide line is different from the others mainly because they encapsulate various size molecules so the correct ingredients is delivered to the target area of the skin.  Both products are cruelty free.

Smashbox came out with their Photo Finish Water Primer a couple months ago and was looking everywhere for the sample size bottle mostly it’s easier to carry around and having so much others sprays like this, I didn’t need the full size. So I got the travel size for 19$ at Sephora.

Kat Von D Lock-it Tattoo Concealer

This may be strange for a beauty blogger, but this is the first ever product I’m trying from Kat Von D. The brand from the famous tattooist has been out for years but never had the chance to try anything so far. So after seeing the Lock-it Tattoo concealer in a blog post, I had to go and buy it.

Jealous Body Coffee + Coconut Scrub*

I don't know if I have tell you before but exfoliant are my best friends. I can't live without it, so when I received the opportunity to test Jealous Body Coffee + Coconut Scrub*, I had to accept. The first thing that attract me was the fact I could read the list of ingredients and actually understand what every single one of them was. This was the first time ever in my life of beauty lover and blogger.

Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner

Hello girlies,

Has you may remember, I got a bunch of french skincare products while I was in France over the summer. This time will be about Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner. To be honest I only got it because it was Bioderma. I wasn't expecting very much.

The Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner is primarily for combination and oily skin types. This is a corrective serum that helps improve the appearance of your skin with the pores and reduce the excess of sébium. You can use it once or twice a day before your skincare cream or alone. I prefer to use it with my cream because otherwise, it makes my skin feel to tight and dry. If you have oily skin you have to use all over your skin and combination on your T-Zone (nose, forehead, chin).

Bioderma Sébium Exfoliant Purifiant

Hello girlies,
It's been quit a while since my last blog but I've been a lot busy and my computer broke so I didn't have anything to write on until I find a way to work with my Ipad until I get a new one. In this post and the next few ones, the pictures will be a bit dark because I had to take them in the bathroom and not like I normally take them in my room.

So I went just to explore the site and also purchase a few things. I got two set of brushes including these and a few box of eyelashes for 1.50$. I will keep you posted about them. What made me bought these kabuki where because I wanted some from Sigma and didn't know if I was going to love them. Before trying something expenive, I always love to try a cheaper version.

Hello girlies,

A fews months back, I bought a couple of things from Sleek Makeup. Some were repurchase and the rest new stuff. I reviewed the Luminaire Highlighting Concealer if you missed it. I wanted to try some of theirs eyeshadows palettes for quit some time and finally did. I got the I-Divine Au Naturel palette which is full of neutral colors like I love. The palette come in 12 shades: 8 mattes and 4 shimmery. After hearing so much thing about these Sleek palette, I was expecting a lot and was kind of disapointed. On the websites, this palette looked so gorgeous but in real life not so much.

LA Girl PRO Concealer

Hello beauties,

I don't for you but i'm bit of a concealer hoarder. I just have to try new ones. After hearing tone of things about the LA Girl PRO concealers from various place, I decide to go and order them from BeautyJoint.

I was appealed to try them because first of the price 2.50$ and they are even less expensive in the USA (1.99$) and second the choice of colors, 18 to be honest. That is pretty good for a drugstore concealer. I actually got three shades : Expresso, Chesnut and Dark Cocao. I was lucky enough to have pick a color that is my skin color in Expresso. I did use both Chestnut to highlight under my eyes and contour with Dark Cocoa because they are too light and dark for my skin color.

But even these two things couldn't make me love these concealers. I find them if I may say too greasy. I first taught they were heavy but no.  Even if I put some powder on, I still look shiny way too shiny. Not a good look after a few hours wearing the concealer.  The consistency is too thick and the brush applicator not that great. I always squeeze out too much product. The formula is dry but still make you look shiny.

This concealer provide medium coverage which is ''meh'' in my opinion. One last thing, I find that they were kind of difficult to blend out on the skin and kind of look cakey. I think it's because they dries out too quick.

I had try better drugstore concealer ( ok only one) which is ELF Concealer palette and adore it. If I ever finish these concealers, I will not repurchase them.

I think, I just not a fan of LA Girl products based on the ones I tried. I bought one Lip Glazed (rumored to be Too Faced Melted lip paint dupe) and just hated too. This is just my opinion based on my liking and skin type. I have seen quit some good reviews

Have you ever tried the LA Girl PRO Concealer. Did you liked or hated it? I want to hear more

Until next time xox
